For regular admission, Mansfield Beauty Schools requires that each student enrolling in the Cosmetology or Manicure program must: Complete an application for enrollment, provide proof of secondary education such as a diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), an official transcript of secondary school completion, or a state certification of home-school completion.  (All documents will be verified). In the absence of the above documentation, the applicant may be enrolled under the Ability to Benefit Criteria. The Ability to Benefit Criteria is defined as follows: The Applicant has previously been enrolled as an Ability to Benefit student prior to July 1, 2012. The applicant has enrolled in and successfully completed at least 225 clock hours in order to be deemed as having the Ability To Benefit from the program. (Please note as of July 1, 2012 Students who are admitted under Ability to Benefit are NOT eligible for Title IV Financial Aid.)

Mansfield Beauty Schools, in its admission, instruction, and graduation policies, practice no discrimination, on the basis of age, race, color, sex, religion, ethnic origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, handicap,veteran status or disability and adheres to Massachusetts and Federal discrimination laws and policies. Massachusetts state law requires that a student be at least sixteen years of age for admittance to a school of cosmetology.Classes start on a monthly basis.
